Fatma Omar a mother a wife and a champion, winning 4 consecutive gold Paralympic medals and breaking world record each time. Achieving the same amount of gold medals as Michael Phelps. Rarely you find someone like this is in Egypt, but the sorry thing is that I never knew about her till I was searching for an inspiring female story. It’s a shame that she is not well recognized in Egypt and how neglected she is in the sports society, For several weeks I tried to get in contact with her till finally I did. We met and next week we were shooting. You can’t imagine how amazing she is, very kind, humble, down to earth and always smiling. Despite all her obstacles in life, she is still inspiring people around her. I am honored to film her and I hope this short film reaches all Egypt and the entire world.

Shot on Red Epic with Arri lenses and a canon 5d mk ll for the interview.
